Expanding Compassionate Grief Support Through Coaching Education

At the Institute of Professional Grief Coaching (IOPGC), we believe grief is one of life’s most universal experiences. Yet many people navigating loss do so without the compassionate presence and understanding they deserve.

Through the Compassion in Action Scholarship Initiative, we provide opportunities for individuals who feel called to support others through grief to pursue professional training in grief coaching and education. This initiative reflects our mission to expand grief-informed support around the world by empowering compassionate leaders, caregivers, and community members to hold space for those navigating grief and loss.

Why Scholarships Matter

Grief often inspires a deeper calling to serve others with empathy, presence, and understanding. Our scholarship initiative helps remove financial barriers so that individuals from diverse backgrounds can become trained grief coaches and bring compassionate support to their communities.

Together, we are helping normalize conversations around grief while fostering resilience, growth, and renewed purpose.
